G Gathering Luncheon Pilot Club

Luncheon Pilot Club

The Luncheon Pilot Club of Chesapeake recently held a fundraiser tea party hosted by member Ann Myers in her Victorian-themed home. Forty-eight members and guests were treated to a variety of delicious treats and tea servings. Local author and retired teacher Kay Stone gave highlights of her two children's books, "The Beach Fairy" and "Santa's Secret Wish." Rev. Dr. Kay Rodgers spoke on humor in the Bible, daily life and in healing. Beautiful door prizes donated by LPCC members were awarded to lucky guests. All proceeds will be used to fund scholarships and projects for adults and children with mental challenges.
